Challenge Street X-Pipe and Custom Megan Exhaust
Challenge Street x-pipe. Removes the rear cats and comes with welded stock forward cats. Also retains the resonators. Megan custom exhaust. This is a set of universal Megan mufflers welded to connector pipes with 4" tips welded to the mufflers. Pretty unique since I have yet to see anyone with 4" tips. Sound: Deep. Much deeper than most exhausts I have heard for the E9X M3. At low RPMs it is clean and not raspy at all. At high RPMs it gets more exotic and still no rasp. Drone was minimal and I could easily carry on a conversation on the phone or in the car with a passenger. But as always, drone is based on individual preference. Didn't bother me or anyone else I drove with. Looks: I had lots of people comment that it looked very similar to a Dinan setup, but with larger tips obviously. Most people liked it, but I realize that it isn't for everyone. I sprayed the mufflers and tips with high heat matte black paint. Condition: Not sure the mileage as I bought both parts used separately. The x-pipe has a small dent in one of the resonators and the cats have some scratches on the bottom. Nothing that affects performance. The mufflers need a respray which I will do for the buyer and there is a small ding in one of the tips, but it is VERY hard to see. I do because they are on my car, but no one else has noticed. No tune is necessary with this x-pipe.
