New to the forum, just purchased a 135i!
Hey guys, just joined the forum not to long ago because I've been on the hunt for a 135i and have been looking and looking. Finally I found one and is going to be picked up this weekend. I bought a 09' 135i M sport. 6 speed. Has 80,000 miles. It is space grey on coral red leather. Has the BMW performance short shift and alcantara boot as well as the shadowline gloss black trim and the HiFi sound. I purchased a AFE axle back second hand from someone the other day with the black tips for $300 which seemed like a pretty fair price. Just waiting to put that on so I can hear the car a bit. Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new ride. You are in for some fun. Space Grey and Coral Red are a great combo. My first 1er had the Coral Red interior. Loved it. Let us know how the exhaust sounds. Maybe post a video in the exhaust thread so we can hear it. Good luck.

The exhaust really makes a difference. I remember when I first got mine and I thought it sounded aggressive and sporty from inside the cabin. Then I remember my reaction when I had my friend sit in it and rev it so I could hear the exhaust tone.
 I bought an exhaust the next day.

haha i hear you man! My brother has a 335i with catless downpipes and stock mids with magniflow catback and it sounds excellent. Not annoying loud but has nice tone for sure. Bought my AFE catback before i even bought the 135i! lol

Been enjoying the car! Love this car. Decent update here.. Installed the LUX pure white Halo bulbs today and also got the car tinted 20% !
Between the last week I also installed: BMS intakes, Catless DP's, AFE axle back, ER charge pipe with HKS SSQV bov. Currently using a COBB V3 access port on stage 2 map. 7" VRSF intercooler comes in the mail tomorrow and will be installed that soon as well so I can get the car pro-tuned hopefully within the next week! Let me know what you guys think!    |
