Retrofit shark fin antenna, e82 123d, no aerial on roof

Hi.
I want to retrofit a shark fin antenna on my e82, sice i have retrofitted cic i while back.
Only problem is, i dont have any aerial on my roof beforehand, only the one for the radio on the rear window.. Is there anyone who have done this before, andcould give some hints on placement og the hole in the roof etc...?

I actually like e82 with no Antenna...

The thing is I need it for the GPS antenna..

I retrofitted the CIC and i just put the gps antenna under the dash (close to the windscreen). If you wanted the shark fin antenna look you can get a dummy fin on ebay. But that's probably not what you want to hear...

It should be straight forward, just mount the antenna and run the cables to where they need to go. As for locating it - once you get the antenna and cover look for a position where it sits flush with the roof.

I also have it near the window, below the dash/ pilar, but its not a good enough location in the long run. Ferries, tunnels, and it beeing a china gps antenna means its not good enough.

As originaly posted peolpe, I need help regarding the placement of the antenna or if anyone has done this berfore..
