Best Method to Repair Chipped Windshield?

Driving to work today I had the dreaded gravel rock out of know where hit my windshield right in my center of view. I'm just glad it wasn't worse. It basically left 3 small chips with no staring (yet). I had one hit my SUV once which did cause a little staring. I bought one of those DIY windshield repair kits with the suction cup and clear filler from auto parts store. I didn't think it helped that much with improving the look as it was still very visible. Although the staring effect in the glass doesn't appear to have expanded.

So what's the best thing for this? I've only had the car a few months I would love for it to go away but definitely not worth replacing the windshield. Any recommendations?

Safelight or a reputable windshield chip repair guy. Even some mobile detailers do them. I'm sure a quick Yelp search in your area would give you a few options.

I would agree call a good glass repair shop they might be able to fill it, or your insurance they may replace it.
