StopTech ST40 for sale $2200
All,
I purchased these brakes new from Richard @ MWorld 9/2011 and probably put only about 6 track days on them - but the car was a daily driver. This is the ST40 kit (4-piston front and rear) in Red so it will easily fit the OEM 18" wheel and others I would guess. Absolutely NO fade at the track and with the stainless steel lines (included), the pedal feel is rock solid (a revolution over the stock setup). In my opinion the brakes were the only real weak part of the M3 and this setup proved to be amazing on the street and on the track. For sale: Front and rear ST40 calipers and rotors with pads and stainless lines - $2200 Condition: As you can see - from the picture of one of the front calipers, it could stand a repaint. To be honest you can't tell when it's behind the wheels, so I didn't bother to do it before the sale. The other one is in good shape. I have discounted the price to reflect the cosmetics. There is nothing mechanically wrong. I can provide pics of the rears and rotors if needed (rear ones still have dust all over them) but I have been procrastinating to sell these, and will only do so longer if I wait to post pics until I clean the rears. Pads are probably 60%+ or more worn but new ones are cheap from StopTech (and super simple to change). Please contact me with any other questions at aliota[at]gmail.com. Located in Houston.

Yeah, Im not sure why they are so worn down. But it was my DD and I conservatively have 30k on those pads. Probably also drove the car a little hotter than I should have on a daily basis. Explains my amazing 11-15mpg average. I should have done silver or black, but I though the Red looked cool!
