Which F80 Coding Options are the Best?
I have a 2015 BMW M3 DCT (F80) and wanted to get coding done especially the enabling of the Full-LED headlights, but I am wondering if there were any other options worth doing? The bolded items are the ones that I want to do but some of the others I don't know what they do or if they are worth considering:
1) DVD In Motion 2) Enable Video Via USB Port (HU_NBT only) 3) Disable Legal Disclaimers (Startup, Cameras, Etc.) 4) Add/Delete Weatherband Radio (WB) To Entertainment Options 5) Enable (Sport Displays) Torque & Power Meters In iDrive 6) Enable Tire Pressure & Temperature Readings In iDrive 7) Transfer Phone’s Ringtone To Vehicle 8) Disable Seat Belt Chimes (Driver and/or Passenger) 9) Disable Initial Start-Up 3 Dings Chime 10) Close Windows & Sunroof With KeyFob & Comfort Access 11) Fold/Unfold Side Mirrors With KeyFob & Comfort Access 12) Fold Side Mirrors As Soon As The Vehicle Is Locked 13) Disable Window Safety (Auto Up works when door is opened) 14) Start Car Without Braking/Clutching 15) Unlock Doors When Car Is Turned Off 16) Disable Automatic Start and Stop Or Set It To Last Memory Setting 17) Close Trunk From Key & Interior Button (Only cars with power trunk mechanism) 18) Enable Fog Lights As Welcome Lights and/or Cornering Lights 19) Disable Halogen DRL’s 20) Enable Angel Eye’s As DRL’s 21) Disable Side-marker Running-Light LEDs (Still Work As Turn Signals) 22) Run High Beams & Fog Lights Simultaneously 23) Change ‘One Touch’ Lane Change Count From 3 Blinks to (4,5,6,etc) 24) Turn On Taillights As DRL’s 25) Disable Headlight Washers 26) Change Amount Of Sprays For Headlights Washers From 2-3 27) Digital Speedometer (On By Default On ///M Cars) 28) Enable ///M Performance Logo In The Gauge Cluster (Need 6WA Cluster) 29) Disable Speed Overestimation (Only For Analog Speedometer) 30) Change Cluster Language To Spanish, Chinese, Etc. 31) Disable Top Speed Restriction For Cameras (Can Be Used While Driving) 32) Angel Eye Brightness 100% during DRL and Headlights 33) Enable Full-LED Headlights (Dazzle) (Remove De-Coding for US LED Headlights) 34) Enable Siri Voice Control from Steering Wheel 35) Turn Cameras On/Off at any speed on iDrive Screen 36) Change Comfort Access Delays for Open/Close via Kick-Open Feature 37) A/C System Remembers Last Setting 38) Enable Enhanced Bluetooth (Streaming Audio via BT – depends on hardware in car) 39) Enable LED Door Handles Illumination when in Reverse 40) Increase the brightness of ambiance lighting 41) Add Sport+ to vehicle without this comfort setting |

"Best" is subjective, but this thread might help: Top 10 Codings for M4 Coupe or Convertible.
Be aware that many coders will not enable the full LED headlights correctly (just removing the US de-coding is not enough). See this thread: Adaptive LED lighting turned on-wow.

A few comments on the options you posted.
5) Enable (Sport Displays) Torque & Power Meters In iDrive Default in an //M.6) Enable Tire Pressure & Temperature Readings In iDrive Default in an //M.16) Disable Automatic Start and Stop Or Set It To Last Memory Setting Last Memory is the default. At least in my car.17) Close Trunk From Key & Interior Button (Only cars with power trunk mechanism) My car has pretty much every option and my trunk is not a power trunk. I'm sure none of the F80 series has this option. I could be wrong though.18) Enable Fog Lights As Welcome Lights and/or Cornering Lights We don't have Fog Lights.20) Enable Angel Eye’s As DRL’s This can be enabled/disabled from iDrive.22) Run High Beams & Fog Lights Simultaneously Again, no fogs to activate.23) Change ‘One Touch’ Lane Change Count From 3 Blinks to (4[/B],5,6,etc) I find 5 is the best setting for my preference.28) Enable ///M Performance Logo In The Gauge Cluster (Need 6WA Cluster) We already have the //M logo.29) Disable Speed Overestimation (Only For Analog Speedometer) I'd like more information on this one. This is one of the most hated things about this car. That and the 1/6 increments of our fuel gage. 30) Change Cluster Language To Spanish, Chinese, Etc. Isn't this already an option through iDrive?38) Enable Enhanced Bluetooth (Streaming Audio via BT – depends on hardware in car) Ours is already enabled.41) Add Sport+ to vehicle without this comfort setting Obviously we already have this one.

(Not my photo) We told him to reset his TPMS, because 40 is definitely not low pressure |

Does Canada have TPMS (sensors in wheels) or still on RDC? PM me the last 7 of your VIN and I'll see if I can check.

Just checked your VIN, it looks like Canadian vehicles do not get the 02VB option (TPMS) which has sensors inside the tires for reading tire temps, instead relying on tire rotation (RDC) to determine tire pressures.

Quick followup: do you have metal or rubber valve stems?

Thanks for following up.
That's a telltale sign of no TPMS sensors on the vehicle. TPMS uses metal stems.

I got mine coded to included being able to have my driver seat move back 6-8 when the engine is turned off and door open. Goes back into place when i get back in the car and after I close the door. I've grown to love this feature.

That was back when we coded your car in August, feature is working and verified since then.
Drop on by with your M4 and I'll get it coded up for you.

I'm curious about the speed overestimation - that's the first I've heard about this. What's the code to take it out? By how much does it overestimate?

Approx 5%, BMW has been following this practice for years to account for different wheel/tire options.
