Will traffic violation/accidentsduring ED show up on driver abstract?

I was curious, if I got into an accident, or got a speeding ticket, will my insurance company find out? Does anyone have any experience with this?

No. Unless it goes through litigation. Between government tickets, accidents, etc. anything legal has to go through Dept of Justice through the U.S. Embassy. Highly unlikely unless you kill someone or damage property in a foreign country. If you get a traffic ticket, it's a souvenir.

Or you can get a Chetah C150 speed/red light camera detector and save yourself having to pay all the tickets you are going to receive in the mail and have to do international money transfers to pay.

I have one and it is absolutely fantastic. Works in Europe and NA.

already on a plane to my first destination :/. I think I read there was some sort of app? maybe it just worked in one country, can't seem to remember

Nobody really uses it. I used a Garmin Navigation with Europe maps and it had about 95% of the speed cameras with warning on it
