Clear Bra?
Hi all-- couldn't find a thread on this specific question. I'm wondering who here has clear bra'd their Ms? Was thinking about getting my hood, fenders, bumpers, wing mirrors and head lamps covered. Is it worth it and does anyone have recommendations for a good shop in the LA area? Thank you!

I didn't clear bra and after 5 months my lower bumper already has more dings than I'd like.
Both rear fenders at and above the BMW installed bra have dings. Both side skirts have dings. Hood and mirror caps are flawless. Only thing that really bothers me is the bumper... |

I'm not in L.A. so no shop recommendations but had the same areas covered + door strips and luggage strip. I may go back to get A pillars and partial roof. 5th car I've had done and always worth it. I've used 3M and Xpel in the past; trying Suntek this time around.

There are at least a dozen threads about clear bra in this forum. Here is an example

Have front bumper, front window pillar, mirror caps, front quarter panel, back bumper (including area behind back wheels) and rocker panels.
3200 miles and not a scratch. XPel Ultimate. Can't see it at all. Easier to clean - in fact for the filmed areas you can just take a wet rag and wipe it down - you won't scratch it. Completely worth it.

I coated my car first but I'm thinking about going back to clear bra my front for my M4.
But I'm not sure My M4 isn't my daily but I worry often about crap hitting it when I'm driving on the freeway.

^ One thing to bear in mind with a white car is that film yellowing is very noticeable on white. It takes work to clean and seal the film more frequently on a white car as a result. My last car was a white S4 and while I don't regret getting film for it, I did have it replaced once under warranty (Xpel) due to yellowing I couldn't get out and the installer couldn't get out. It was starting to yellow again when I traded in the car. I do mostly highway driving and can't go without the film. It is unfortunate because I really like white, but will probably not get it again for a daily driver due to this experience.
