So to mitigate the frustration of curb rash... I decided to have all 4 wheels completely refinished by HRE to new condition. This way I can pick a new color!
Currently they are satin Bronze. What finish would you all choose? I have AW on Sakhir interior. I was thinking satin or gloss charcoal ... Choose carefully... The set might be for sale sometime soon if M5 is sold!

Either what Vic is suggesting or gloss charcoal.

I went with Brushed Clear, after a week of driving they turn into brushed charcoal all by themselves.

Yes... The brake dust is an issue. I looked over a ton of pics and I really like the dark look of my satin bronze so I think I'm going to stay with the dark look and go with satin black for a slight change.

I went with brushed tinted dark on P101's and kind of regret it. They look awesome clean but that lasts less than a day then they become too dark for my taste with dirt / brake dust.
I had brushed tinted clear on a set of P40SC and they always looked good. Not sure why HRE stopped making the color. |

Edit: I just spoke to HRE and you are correct they replaced Brushed Tinted Clear with Brushed Dark Clear, sigh. Still going to try and get them to coat my next wheels in Brushed Tinted Clear I feel as if I would have the same concern as you with the new finish being too dark.
