How to adjust AE Performance Exhaust Tips?

Had a hard time adjusting mine also, so I ended up spraying the clamping area with PB blaster and using a strap wrench around the tip, rotating left/right till it was loose.

hmmm maybe ill spray some wd40 in there and use rubber clamps to try and move it.
