Fire Orange M4 or Yas Marina Blue M3?

Update

So i got a response from bmw and they cant do the color i wanted which is rosso mars red. So now i am between signal green and violet blue, both with silverstone interior. Any suggestions?

Well, if you like them equally, then stay with YBM since Fire Orange costs about $ 4500 more.

I'd go orange. I'm not a fan of the YMB but it's all personal taste.

Apples & oranges, two completely diff colors...only you can really decide. I would personally go for F80 SO, but that's me.

Or, make it a MT vs DCT choice if it helps. But something tells me your initial choice of MT is where the heart is!

Im fine with either transmission its more of which car to go with. Basically which is the better looking car i really like both and i asked my wife and shes fine with either one too.

Good point but I've read a lot of great things on the dct as well so i think i cant go wrong with either trasmission.

Every M3 I see is white or yas.

I would go with a fire orange M4 anyday over an M3.

YMB is just not for me... every time I see it I hate it more and more. Looks plasticky.

Yeah looks like I'm leaning more towards that its just walking away from the fire orange is hard lol I should've just order a individual color for my m3 when i had the chance

Seems like you are having second thoughts about everything. Two vs. four door should have been decided before you ordered the car.

I personally like the sportiness of the two door cars. It is just me, so no need for four doors and I think that it looks a lot better. Others really like the four doors.

Good luck, but at the end of the day, you can't go wrong either way!

I decided four door i like the look of the m3 the main thing leading me towards a m4 is the color i don't think i would get the m4 in a yas blue per say but both look great!

Even if FO didn't cost $4,500 more, I would still choose YMB over it. I really like the way YMB changes depending on the light.

Just my opinion though!

OP, it is great to have this kind of dilemma.

Here is a test:
Pick the left or right side for each line,
Coupe vs. Sedan;
Orange vs. Blue;
Black interior vs. Silver interior;
DCT vs. Manual.

If ONE side makes 100 % you will have a clear answer.
If you are on the fence, wait for your order to come in... and see it. If you are not 100% on it then, then reconfigure the order that will make 100% sense for you.

Each of the items above has to be correct for you to be really happy for many years. If you are a constant car buyer then get the fire orange car and enjoy it for a year or two and then move on...

Most of us here love our cars and change them often, so we cannot be the best advisers on this kind of situation where common sense may be more important than whim.
