GoPro control

Can someone test the GoPro control functionality? I updated the GoPro app and now it won't recognize when it is plugged into the car.

Same here, my GoPro app stop responding after the last update on June 11th.....this happened to me a few months ago any the only way to fix it is to wait for the next update of the app...

Last time the problem was on the GoPro app, I remember seeing the bug fixes list, and BMW connectivity was one of them....so we just have to sit and wait

Thanks for contacting GoPro, sorry about the delayed response.

We've been advised that there is a compatibility issue on iOS between the new version of the GoPro App (2.7) and the BMW iDrive system. I apologize about this but an update will probably be coming out shortly to fix this problem. For now if I can get the following information from you that would be great:

App Version Number
Car Manufacture (BMW or MINI) Model / Year Camera Firmware Version iOS Version Number

Again I apologize about the current inconvenience.

I called bmw genius. They said they were aware of the problem and were working on it. .

It's working now!
Just go into the App Store on your iPhone, there is an updated version of the GoPro, now it works like it should with the iDrive

mine all of a sudden is telling me i cant see the camera on the idrive screen while the car is moving when it used to work...

Anyone else have that issue?

the preview only works on gopro hero 4 or newer.
