2011.5 CPO E92 price check

Hey Guys!

I'm about to pull the trigger on an E92 M3, and would welcome some opinions on the deal.

2011.5 E92 32k miles, CPO until 2/2017
- Lemans Blue
- DCT
- ZCP
- Premium package
- Convenience package (includes tech package)
- Extended silver novillo leather
- Individual audio system
- Clear bra
- 2 owners
- Price: $44k

I've been a huge fan of M3's since I was a kid, and I'm excited to finally join the ///M community!

Hey Ninja Turles, who is Donathelo? Just kidding. I bought mine not long time ago and I am really happy. Things to watch: check when the car was "enrolled" on the CPO program. The conditions changed from car enrolled on or after Jan 1, 2014. The new conditions cover a little bit more specially on small electronics.

A clean Carfax doesn't mean a clean car. To avoid being reported to Carfax people sometimes fix the cars out of their pocket, sometimes at cheap shops. Check the paint with a gauge or have a PPI. Don't fall in love with the car. Look for flaws. There should be more than one. That way there won't be any surprises.

Also go to the BMW dealer and ask for the CPO Vehicle Inspection Checklist. Don't forget that to transfer the CPO warranty you need to do it thru a BMW dealer. Ask them about the condition of the car and if all the items not meeting BMW standards were taken care of. Ask for certification of changing fluids like oil, coolant, steering and brakes. Last but not least, get a copy of the signed papers right there and then do not rely on them.

I bought my 2010 CPO for 42 almost two years ago.

No regrets!
