iDrive Question
The 2010 BMW 135i with Navigation, does this mean it comes equipped with Bluetooth audio as well as other iDrive functions? Or is that separate? Also is the 2010 year bad for the iDrive? It seems to be the same as my BMW x5 2011 from a first glance.
Another question is, is there a way to get an auto shut off button on the 1 series? Never seen nor heard about it but someone told me a while ago it was possible. |

No problem with the iDrive. Bluetooth was optional. Best way to tell what option it has is to get the last seven VIN digits and go to bmwarchive.org.
If you don't see the button, it doesn't have it. Some EU version had a start stop, but US no. I've seen a guy retrofit it to an US spec E92 M3, but why would you do that...

That is not an auto shut off button. That button disables the auto shut off. The E8x engines were not designed for auto shut off so if you somehow changed the software to do auto shut off it would put stress on the starter motor and other components that weren't designed for it.
