$1000 Anniversary Credit

My ED is June 2nd and I am going next week to turn in my lease and finalize everything, put my deposit down, etc. I was told that I cannot apply the $1000 credit to my order because it is a Priority 1 or 2 order with my name on it. The credit is only meant to move old stock.

Has anyone had any luck applying this to an existing order they haven't picked up yet?

Have not heard this and interested to know as well. I heard that the $1k credit was good for ED cars. I have my ED scheduled in July, so I was hoping to use it as well.

The website says nothing about in stock vehicles...maybe your dealership is planning on keeping it?

Here is an excerpt from the site
" $1,000 Anniversary Credit also available on BMW M3 Sedan. All credits offset MSRP. APR and credits valid through June 01, 2015. Credits may be combined with other offers unless otherwise stated. Qualified rate lock applicants must take delivery within 60 days of initial lock"

And its not stated...

Thanks for your responses guys. Is this something that I can inquire for more fine print from BWMNA or BMWFS or do they generally not answer these types of questions and leave it to the dealer's discretion?

They are probably not going to give you any more details but its worth a try. Don't tell them what your dealer said until they answer your questions about restrictions.

I would contact your dealer and tell them you confirmed with BMWNA - spoke XXX and they told me it was not for in stock vehicles and that you are expecting the credit.

I think they could be planning on padding their margin with the incentive. I ordered march 5th and had no trouble applying it to my car which I take delivery of on saturday.

Essentially, if you are using the may lease program (residuals/mf) you are entitled to the 1000. I switched from the march lock to the new may program.

This however is not the case with the ultimate drive event voucher, or so i am told.

Now in your case, is it worth it with the drop in residual?

Thats correct. And if you use a California dealership it locks for 90 days. That one of the reasons I got my F10 from a California dealership and just picked up in South Carolina PCD

Yes, the lock period includes the incentive. Doesn't matter when you order the car. As long as you take delivery within 60 days (or 90 west coast) of June 1, then your set.

Also agree the ultimate drive cannot be used for ED cars.

The $1K Anniversary Credit has been extended through June 2015, so a 60-day lock would make this available to me for my August 3 ED date.

Any definitive answer one way or another on applicability of the credit towards ED? The terms (such as they are) certainly don't suggest many limitations/restrictions.

You can use it on ED,

EDIT just realized you are getting an 2015 M3 - My bad... you are good to go. It would not have mattered anyway since you will do your paper work in July for an August 3rd ED

Thanks-- I assume you are speaking from experience. I am going in to do the credit app and sign some other things this Friday, so I will be within the 60 day lock period.

Anyone know what rate BMW Finance has offered recently for a 60 month loan with excellent credit?

Oh you lucked out, if the programs had changed in June and you didnt have your app you would have lost the program.

Yes, you sign all your paperwork anywhere between 1-2 weeks before your ED date so you will also get an opp at July numbers.

1k anniversary credit is only for the M3 not M4 and yes you can use it for ED.
