Makes you wonder if the weight savings in those pockets is worth the loss of strength on the spokes... I'd rather get the regular FI's with peace of mind that they have stronger spokes. I could care less about the 1.5 lbs per corner weight difference.

Looks sick nonetheless.

Since this is BBS I don't think there are any issues. We are not speaking of an ADV.1 wheel where looks are priority nr. 1!

Indeed, I assume BBS did the research on this.

I don't believe BBS North America would release a product that doesn't meet standard! I understand what you're trying to say but again I'm sure this wheel is just as strong as the every so sought after FI! I will give you another opinion on the wheel once I have them in hands. I also must say this new Platinum Silver finish is spectacular.

maybe I'm getting old, or just not keeping up with current pricing tiers, but goddam these prices are getting out of hand!

$8k for a set of BBS rims
$5k for any type of pseudo-decent Exhaust
etc

Yikes!

Can't wait to see these mounted! Are they f8x platform-specific, or are fitments available for the e92 m3 as well?

Are you going to run some neon lights around through the holes?

I was thinking glow stick inserts. Isn't that what the holes are for?

The Fast and The Furious (Original) style. . They are cool but I think I would rather have standard Fi. Ive seen them both in person at M Fest Atlanta.

I too prefer original Fi design. I do really really like the new silver finish on the Fi-R

Yeh that finish is sick I agree. They also dont make 19s in good sizes for the f80.
