Help with Instrument Display

Very minor issue but I need some help with the instrument display between the gauges.

Right now it only shows time and temperature. When I first bought the car it showed time, temperature, and MPGs.

How do I change any of these options?

In settings>instrument display, there are a bunch of options which I all have checked, but none of them appear in the instrument display.

What am I doing wrong?

Basic answer, but you are pressing the BC button on the indicator stalk to switch between displays aren't you?
