3rd ED, 1st time in Amalfi Coast/Venice...recommendations please?!

I'll be flying to Rome in June and spending a week in Italy before heading to Munich to pick up the F80 M3

I have the rome hotels (2 nights) taken care of, and plan on taking the train to Salermo and spending 4 nights in that area.

Thinking of:

- 1 night in Salermo
- 1 night in Amalfi
- 2 nights in Positano

Anyone have some recommendations on where to stay and how to get from Salermo to Positano?

ps- Also need recommendations for:

- 1 night in Innsbruck
- 1 night in Bormio
- 1 night in Vaduz

any advice would be appreciated

Amalfi

Eat at La Taverna del Duca in Amalfi.

They stayed at Hotel La Bussola. It has a nice sea view and they were happy with their stay. Decent hotel.

Positano

Have a drink at Le Sirenuse Hotel in Positano. Eat at La Cambusa.

They haven't stayed at the Hotel San Pietro but they liked the location of it a lot.

Grand Hotel Tritone has a nice location and a lift directly down to the beach.

Salerno vs Sorrento

They liked Sorrento better than Salerno. They stayed in Hotel Bellevue Sirene in Sorrento. It had an amazing Mount Vesuvio view and it's 15 mins to Capri Island.
