She's sitting lower!

I receive the H&R coilover kit early last week, took a couple days but finally installed it. Also changed the pads to Stoptechs, cleaned up the rotors and painted the calipers Burnt Copper. Still have a bunch of little things to do but it's coming along.

I have a small vinyl cutter so made it myself. But I have seen someone selling them on ebay out of the UK for under $50 with the "/// BMW Performance" sticker which I think is pretty reasonable. Also Bimmian sells them precut for the F30 for $90 but you'd need to cut it down.

I want to put some kind of decal on the car but haven't figured out what yet. If I had a supercharger it might be easier.

I'm not at all a fan of the skirt decals or the obnoxious rear wing, but the ride height and wheels look great.

Like the drop, looks really good! Looking forward to seeing in person.

Still undecided on the sticker though.

She's beautiful. The calipers look stunning!
Post the updates on "the little things" you do in the future.

How you like the coilovers?

With the rear wing it's a love hate relationship. It's not very photogenic, but it does looks good in person. Kind of like Seinfeld "Two Face" Girlfriend

Since the photo it has been removed, I thought it was too short.

Don't know yet cuz only drove it around the block a couple times. I'll keep you updated on the little things. Actually one worth mentioning is the steering wheel controls. I wrapped half with carbon fiber wrap and painted the other half. I think it turned out really well.

I used VHT Engine Metallic Its called Burnt Copper. I took the brakes apart, removed the mounting brackets to paint everything thoroughly. Took a little longer but I'm glad I did it this way. It should do until I get a BBK but that wont be for awhile.

looks great lowered, and i see my decal idea is spreading lol. i dont think it goes as well with silver wheels, but the shape and length have alot to do with it.

im also on H&R coils and love the ride

Did you wrap the steering wheel covers yourself or did you have a shop do it? How was the difficulty?

I did it myself, it was a bit tedious but very doable.

I ordered a few feet last year off ebay and did the entire dash but there are a few guys selling locally on kijiji. 3M DI-NOC Textured Carbon Fiber Bubble Free is what I got. If you just want to do those 2 pieces, I have some scraps left over that you can have.

Thanks. I am thinking about covering all three spokes. I see a guy in Markham is charging $7/sqft, so maybe I'll see if he will mail me a small sheet. Thanks again!

Coilovers are definitely the way to go, great choice with the H&Rs! Not only aesthetics, I'm sure you're enjoying the new ride as well.
