2015 M4 vert or 2016 Coupe?

Local dealer has a nicely appointed M4 Vert in SO (my choice of color). It's slightly used at 1300 miles, and he's asking 77k. I've got another dealer lined up for an ED this fall, for 73k, optioned the same but with full leather. I'm conflicted: a vert today at a very attractive price (MSRP on it was 86), but planning to do ED, model year newer, and of course brand new car on the other side. What would you do?

If the car had a clear bra and had NO chips or imperfections at all, AND had every option/color combo I would choose -- I would take it.

Otherwise, I would wait. But I want a 'vert -- sounds like you're confused on what you really want.

I agree with ILSMKU... WAIT AND ORDER NEW for two reasons.

1) You can do EU and get the 2016 and likely a better price on a new car, spec'd to you liking. An once you do EU, you normally don't got back. Its a great experience

2) If the 2015 your buying is used, last i heard the "Maintenance" doesn't transfer. An I doubt it would apply even if it was a CPO.

A) Doesn't count as a reason, but if its the dealer demo.. It most likely has been M-raped

Thanks for the feedback folks. The dealer M-raped comment put me over the edge, as I added some to that on the test drive last night. I'll sit tight for that 2016 order guide

I wish I was able to do ED in September. Sadly, wife can't do it So I'm stuck taking a 2015 order at the end of the cycle.

Unless there is a big wow difference for the 2016 coupe, get the vert. I don't know what options comes with it though. Mine is fully loaded with base wheels and brakes for around 76.

Did you ever have a convertible? I think it's very nice and no going back for me.

How many months off the original warranty? How would you feel forking over the cash for extended warranty <n> months earlier?

Not sure how long it's been on the warranty, but buying the extended warranty a little earlier isn't a huge deal to me.

Never have owned a vert before. It would definitely be a nice perk, although where I live it's really only good for a few weeks a year (and evenings in the summer).

My biggest concern is I don't know what it's been through in its short life. The dealer admitted it hit his lot with 700 miles on it and it's at 1300 now. It's like the town bicycle.
