A couple friends of mine stated that towards june/july, 2016 models will be releasing soon. So i was wondering if there will be a good deal for at least 7-10k discount to purchase the m4 2015? Or when will there be a holiday sale to get my hand on this for a good price.. Does it vary from which dealerships i choose to go?

7k is reasonably feasible, 10k is very aggressive. It is unlikely you will find a car that has everything you want at those prices. Without taking into consideration leasing opportunities (which I am not sure about but I am guessing now is the best time), the best incentives are close to the year end, when BMW wants to move inventories. However, I was able to find several dealers in the Chicago area willing to let go of their cars for 1 to 2k over invoice, and they have them in stock. They will do that if you push them hard, especially if they have a car they cannot move (e.g.: a dealership had an M4 with DCT, cloth, xenons, wood, driver assistance, NO M adaptive suspensions, etc... Weird combo if I ever saw one. They were willing to let it go for 1,000 over invoice). In general, they is no certain rule about incentives, but in my experience, if you push hard enough and ask around, good deals can be had with cars in stock, even in a terrible market for that like Chicago. |

7k isn't really feasible... Unless you have like an 85k build. Expect from 4-6% off msrp. And less off, you can do better

I don't think $7,000 off a lot car is feasible. In areas where there are lots of competition you'll have better luck. In my region, dealers won't come down more than $2k off sticker for an ordered car (and probably only $1000 to $1500 more on a lot car since they don't have a ton). If you find a lot car they've been sitting on for a while, you'll have the best luck. My guess ~$4-$6k off sticker depending on build for a lot car is what you'll find.

I think an aggressive ask is somewhere in the 5k below msrp spectrum. |

Ill definitely ask about the ED option. Not familiar with that.
Is it true you get good discounts only based on what they have in the inventory? Can i get also get good discounts building my own? |

That is the ED option, building your own and receiving your car in Germany instead of the US.

you have a lot to learn huh? Discounts can be negotiated on a custom order, or an inventory car. Old inventory maybe you can negotiate more...certainly 2015 inventory once 2016's are in production, should sell for significant discounts. As was mentioned, up to 6% off MSRP is easily attainable by many dealers out there, you just need to make some calls.

From dealer negotiation and pricing, down to the specific details of airport shuttle transfer to hotels, to tours at the Welt, and best roads and cities to visit in Europe to you name it. It's here. I haven't had to actually make a thread to ask any questions really, as all the answers have already been given to someone else It's just a matter of searching! (i'm leaving in under a month and i'm literally doing another search as I type this to a minor question of if the Welt can hold our luggage when we arrive directly from the airport) Get to it! All you need is right here
