2016 production dates?

Anyone know when 2016's go into production and any other info on them or when it will be coming out?

speculation on what updates will be made. No other info out yet that is concrete to BMW dealers

I believe I read 7/15 production starts, though I could be off on the day. Production ends on the 2015's mid June as well. I'd say early to mid September for US deliveries.

I think quite a few of us are awaiting 2016 details.

I've been told mid August for a 2016 ED.

That's what I've been reading as well. I find myself entertaining the idea of ED more and more over the past few weeks, especially with the status of the Euro vs Dollar. The GF has been really encouraging it as well, such a process to your head around but sounds amazing.

Someone published an official sheet with upcoming models back in January. It showed F80 starting production 7/20. I didn't see F82 or F83 on the sheet.

I have a 5/13 production date. Should I cancel and order a 2016?

Along those same lines, when will they be releasing info on the new model year. Is that typically done in May ?

My sales guy in Germany said mid to late May.

I didn't ask about an allocation. I'm buying a US spec M4 from a high volume German dealership and picking it up at the Welt, then driving it home. The SA said he would place the order the day the 2016 prices came out and to expect a delivery around 15 August.

He already has a mock-up order of what I want based on 2015 options and a 10% down-payment. When the '16 prices/options come out we'll adjust the order form to reflect any changes...if I have any...and place the order.

My exact same situation minus the 10% prepayment.

Although wanting to find out what the official LCI announcement is as I may switch from the M4 to the M3 if its significant enough.
