Inexpensive Power Mod

Ruined my grills by spilling brake fluid on them (don't ask), so I figured I'd try something new. These must be good for 2-3 HP...

Fitment is great and took a total of 10 minutes to install.

But all that added power will wear out your rod bearings by next week! Uh oh....

LOL

They look great, but all that extra grill paint is going to turn it into a front heavy, understeering pig. Straight line you should be able to feel the 2-3 bhp though.

You're aware that the tow hook strap adds weight to the front of the car, ruining the 50-50 weight distribution.

Your car no longer handles like it's on rails, bro.

You almost have it.

The M3 is actually about high-revving burnouts. Have you ever heard this car at redline? Wow.

Ahhh. I've totally been missing out. I always shift at or under 3k RPMs.

Sounds like something I would say. Don't do it. BMW said unofficially that redline should only be used by professionals in emergency situations.

OP's car looks pretty pro. Maybe he can weigh in on this.

If you want to unleash the full power of this mod, you should have painted ALL the slats.
