Extended Maintenance about to run out, how to maximize / capitalize?

Hey all,

2009 135i with 54,500 mi here

my extended maintenance (transferred from the previous owner) will run out in 5 months, and I am looking to maximize its benefits. (IE; hoping to get the brake disks and pads replaced, get another oil change, etc out of the extended coverage).

does anyone have any tips on how this works? is it simply based off of the below chart? or can I bring in my car and hope my service advisor will take care of a few things early? or do I drive the hell out of it to get the miles up? or....?

Haha

Do you say that so that I reach 60,000mi (the next maintenance interval on the schedule),

or

because then the brake pad sensors will show more wear and tear and illicit a replacement?

...just trying to figure out how it works.

Ask for walnut blasting if possible too.

Was planning on getting that (not at the dealer).

Didnt know it could be requested under the extended maintenance. Symptoms being rough idle, and?

what are the symptoms that fit the bill?

I took mine in on the last day of extended maintenance and they would only do what was "out of spec.". I tried to get rear brakes done but they said they were not out of spec. good luck.

I don't think walnut blasting is part of maintenance.

Correct, it's not part a maintenance schedule.

But my car thru a code while still under the 50K warranty and got a free blast.
