Aeroflowdynamics Rear diffuser + Side skirt splitters
Hey guys. Just picked up my car from Aeroflowdynamics. I requested some aero parts from them and here are some pics and info on them! Being the first one, i was able to become a sponsored car
My splitter, which is currently being worked on should be ready soon.. On to the parts that are complete. I had them make some nice looking/functional side splitters or what they called side skirt extensions/ Diffuser. They use high grade alum which is super durable and the finish is absolutely amazing. They come in gloss black but you can have the option of getting it done in matte black as well. I went with the gloss to match some of the parts i have on the car. Side skirts are the perfect size. Not too crazy wide but just perfect. Need to get use to stepping out the car :P. The diffuser is what really made me go . No extra holes to be drilled just direct bold on using oem holes . As for the driving , around 60-70 Mph i can definitely feel the car planted a lot better. Will find out more as i go track the car in May. Overall i am very happy with the outcome and i definitely recommend them . Here are some pics they took of my baby. enjoy! Ill post some pics once my chassis mounted splitter is done ! Sorry man
not feeling it, From my experience its just better to save up and get what you really want or look for something on the used market rather than mess around. Maybe with an upper piece it may work, but as its stands the car looks better without that piece... |

Interested to see the front splitter. I'd be all over a small, thin aluminum front lip that did not stick too far out or down, and provided very modest aero similar to what the BMW Performance spoiler does on the rear.

On their site....$900 shipped for the rear, $300 shipped for the side skirts. My interest in the side skirts is piqued. They also stick out far enough to offer protection to the lower part of the car from random debris and rocks kicked up from the tires. OP, how thick are they? Can you get some pics posted of the underside? Are they flimsy or stiff?

Thanks guys, shot them an email. Who knows, maybe I can be the other donor car!
But $900 is kinda on the border. Forcewerkz varis rep is $700, although FRP. Varis is double the price roughly... |

Side Splitters state they are pre-drilled
Do they attach using existing factory side skirt mounting points on the underneath, or do they use additional screws and/or bolts into the side skirts? I'd like to see the pics of the underside of the side splitters once installed also

I went ahead and ordered their E90 fitment skirts. They advised that since they didn't have an E90 M3 to test fit, they might not fit, but I'm thinking they would. Delivery time was today!
I'm glad I got here when the driver was pulling up, otherwise they might have just been left on the porch. The driver said, "Yeah, when I saw this, I said this was probably damaged, but they put them on the truck anyway and said, 'Hey, they might be hockey sticks!'" Because you know *everyone* orders hockey sticks. In Texas. In April. I pointed out the big red sticker on the end of the package that said, "FRAGILE!" Needless to say, I refused the package. *sigh* Last edited by whats77inaname; 04-22-2015 at 08:02 PM.. |

Yeah, I sent them a link to the thread and the pic. Unfortunately, they're made to order, and the set I picked up were the only E90 pieces that were already made, so it's a 2-3 week lead time, IIRC.
