Aftermarket speakers, need advise

I'm considering my options on upgrading the sound system for the F80 with HK. I currently have a set of Dyn audio 242GT's that I'd like to install. A few questions that I had would really help for those who already took off the door panels.

1. What is the stock speaker hole diameter? For those who installed the BSW, this would be really easy.
2. What is the depth of the BSW drop in speaker?
3. What is the depth between the metal frame (where the speaker mounts and the door panel?

How are others using an aftermarket amp? Would using a speaker to line level piece like the audio control LC2i (seen this for musicars trunk sub kit) be the best option?

Which MOST compatible processor would you recommend?

I ask these questions because I actually have an Audison BIT 10D and the dyn audio speakers already. Hoping I can make them work, or sell to get the appropriate pieces.

Thanks in advance for hose willing to help me out!

Thanks,

Eugene
