Can I tow a 128 auto behind a RV
I need to know if I can tow a 128 automatic behind a RV. I'm thinking about getting a Rv but I will need a car to drive once I get to a campground.

You can tow it for around 50 miles. The problem with flat towing automaics is the transmisson fluid heats up and isnt being cooled with the motor being on. The proper way would be to disconnect the drive shaft or get a dual axle trailer

Because the pumps that move all the fluids around don't run when the engine is off. Cars have to be specifically designed to be flat towed. Even then, most cars require you to run the engine for about five minutes every time you stop.

According to the 1-series owners manual if it's being towed with a lift bar or similar, you cannot exceed 45 mph nor a distance 90 miles without resulting in transmission damage.
