Issue While Installing Interior Led Bulb
I was just trying to install an interior LED kit in my car. Everything went pretty well, except when I tried to install the front left map light (I didn't bother with the other map lights since this happened). After removing the map light bulb, I tried inserting the new bulb into the housing. I pushed very hard, but the bulb would not go in. I ended up pushing so hard that the bulb housing popped out of place, and it is now loosely above the chrome plastic housing that surrounds the bulb. Does anyone know if that chrome plastic housing come off so I can re-secure the map light bulb housing where it belongs?

I did the same thing, you gotta remove the whole dome light assembly, to get the socket that you pushed in, what ended up happening is one of the clips on the socket broke. Went to dealership to try to get a new one but they make you buy the whole unit. Been trying to find one on eBay for cheap

I didn't push mine out like you did but the front right map light and front dome light no longer work after trying to put in new lights. Problem is these new lights socket are freakin huge. Seems your suppose to get picks and spread prongs apart then massage lights in there.
Such a simple thing but of all the car upgrades iv done this one has pissed me off the most.
