Fixed: Newly installed Performance steering wheel won't work

I've posted this at e90post aswell, but I think there maybe are more users of this in here.

I've bought a V2 Performance Steering wheel with the LED display.

I mounted it today, but it just won't light up. No matter what I press and do, it's dead, no light in display, no welcome message, no RPM reading, nothing.

The steering wheel buttons work as they should.

The steering wheel has been on display at a dealer, and have never been mounted in a car. I did not get the coil spring cartridge, module and wiring harness, so I've sourced those myself.

Control module PN is 61352212797, which should be the one for V2.

The wiring harness is self made, and I used the schematics in the BMW retrofit pdf thing to make it.

I've checked the coil spring cartridge, and everything's fine there. I've "beeped" all the wires, and they're all connected correctly. I know the module gets power (measured 12V), and I know the CAN low/high is connected as they should (1 & 2 at the blue connector).

I've used the JBE module as power source, and I've noticed that some people have had som issues when doing this, but it seems like everyone at least get the small display to light up.

Is there anyway to test the display on the steering wheel? Like add power somewhere or anything?

Anything else I can try?

I doubt that the control module is faulty, but you never know.

I don't know what 12 pin plug BMW uses on the control module, so I bought a random one which fit just fine. Would it be possible that this one is 180 degrees wrong? I've bought an OEM BMW plug, and it only fits the way it's now.

Noone?

I've measured the CAN signals to 2.4 and 2.6 volts, which should be right. I've also tried a different power source without any luck.

Does anyone know if it should light up when adding only power, or does it need both CAN signals and power?

I've been looking for differences on the control module and steering wheel regarding manual/auto, but it seems like everything is the same (except for the paddle shifters of course). I have a auto steering wheel in a manual car (paddles removed).

I've been looking at the schematics in the BMW installation instructions:

For me it seems like pin 6 and 5 from the control module (B) to 7 and 9 at the steering wheel socket (C) is +12V and ground for the steering wheel.

When measuring here, I get 0, nothing, zero voltage.

This could indicate that the control module is dead (bought new from BMW), or am I totally wrong?

I found the solution if anyone's wondering.

The schematic in the installation instructions is actually wrong, and that's why I didn't get it to light up.

Negative from battery should be connected to pin 2 on the PSW module according to the diagram, but this is wrong. The correct pin number is 4.

Also negative from PSW module to steering wheel which is from pin 5 on the PSW module is wrong. The correct one here is pin 2.
