Cheese. Only looks remotely acceptable in the photo due to lighting and such.

It's not a Merc or Audi, thus we don't need no stinkin' badges. No logic, just emotion.

this looks like it came from an Audi S5 or something.

The only reason would be to tell people its a V8, since i don't think much people know M3s are V8s.

But they can hear it right..! Tend to agree, this badge isn't needed in my mind.

Yea it's not necessary to advertise that your car has a V8. It would be pretty funny if Ferrari badged their cars like that. F12 Berlinetta V12 6.0. Ferrari California V8 Biturbo. lol.

Funny the old S5 had V8 badges yet the RS5 doesn't. Maybe Audi wisened up on the lameness of badging such an obvious and useless bit of information.

with the gills, definitely no. Audi can get away with it because they don't have anything on their fenders.

Buy an aftermarket exhaust and everyone will know it's a V8, even the illiterate.

Never understood why they threw on Turbocharged badges on a supercharged car..

When I got my S4 I peeled that crap off and put on the red Supercharged badges.

Technically a supercharger is a kind of turbocharger. "A supercharger is known as a turbosupercharger"

Thought about this too but the more I think about it the more it just looks tacky! BMW is recognized as a classy car. That power dome is a good indication of a big motor anyways. 😊

Id assume to avoid trademark issues, the picture looks pretty professional.

A supercharger is not a kind of turbocharger. It is crank driven vs exhaust driven. Therefore it takes horsepower from the engine to drive a s/c, vs waste exhaust for a turbocharger. The only similarity is that they are both forced induction...
