Can't remove adjustment Knob on boot lid

Hi all, I was able to take everything off on my trunk except for the trunk adjuster knob studs...my hand can get to it but I have no clue how to take them off.

Ugh I just did these a couple months ago and I can't remember for sure. I think the center gets pushed out towards you.
