Aluminum Flywheel = Vibration under 2k RPM?

Current mods:

AKG solid motor mounts
Race tranny mount with enforcer cups
Race rear subframe bushings

I installed:

spec 2+ clutch, spec aluminum flywheel, tranny refresh kit from ECS, redline MTL fluid.

After install:

Harsh vibration from 1.5k rpms to 2.5k rpms ONLY under a harder throttle. IE: over 50% pressed

If I don't hit the gas hard, no vibration.

In 3rd gerar + no vibrations in any rpm or throttle.

Anyone have experience with this? Is this just a case of letting the clutch break in?

Yeah man, that's what single mass flywheels do. It's normal!

What he said, perfectly normal side effect of removing the DMF.

Yup. I was prepared for the rattle etc, as everyone talks about it, but the vibration issue freaked me out, since nobody ever mentions it. It isn't just spec, its all SMFW as far as I can tell. I have a custom one made locally and its the same.

Does anyone else have a screetch when they move off from first slowly? Maybe not a screetch but its def. a sound from the clutch disk and flywheel contacting each other.

ahh Didn't know thats clutch chatter.

I was associating rattling of the gears to clutch chatter then.

Doesn't bother me long as its normal!
