EAS led angel eyes question

I recently upgraded the angel eyes using the EAS led lights. Banged up my knuckles good to get them in. They looked good. Tested each before closing up. Came on as daylight runners but the next day after putting them on they did not come on as daylight running lights. Now they come on only at dusk/night along with the HID lights. What's up with that? Is that normal? I am not getting any error lights on dash. This morning had light switch on both adaptive and daylight running still not on. I'm gonna leave it unless this is a bad thing? Any thought?

Garage List
That's probably the same brand I used.

My right-side one didn't work properly after installation -- so extracted it again, and re-tried, and it has been fine for almost a year.

Maybe make sure the color-selecting dip-switches are flat, and didn't get half-cocked during the close-in installation.

Do you have iDrive? check out your Daytime Running Lights option in the Settings menu.

The EAS lights have no color selecting switches, that would be the Lux angel eyes...

Yes, make sure DRL is on in iDrive and the lights need to be in the auto position though if they worked as DRL after the install, I doubt you accident turned off DRL's... Mine have been in for almost a year with no issues. Only time I thought I had a problem was when my indy shop moved the light switch out of auto mode and I did not realize it...

I was out this evening. Angel eyes were on and white. The green light was on for adaptive section. So they work. I drive setting is on for daylight driving lights. Very strange. I just plugged in the LED to the existing plug. Is there anything else to it? I just went by DIY video online. EAS gave no instructions. Should I send them back?

Weird. Mine are on regardless of where the headlight switch is positioned.
