Where should text messages display?

While driving I hear a text message through speakers so it should be working correct. Where do you read your text message from while driving? The HUD or pop up screen. Thanks

Did you switch the idrive settings to "Im a chick" mode?

I hear its the voice of a man, after every command that tells you...

• I will move the car in the garage for you so there is no fighting
• I will watch the kids while you take a nap
• I will go to the grocery store and buy you flowers like all the white kight posters on the f80 board

Shit like that.

Should be able to pick up your commands pretty easily in that mode.

My spouse returns on Monday from a business trip, I've been home with the pups for two weeks with no breaks, handling everything from a mad teacher ( my trouble maker had not appreciated the lack of information given on MLK day, she wrote with her dictionary to the teacher a note stating that it is very wrong not to cover the reasons behind racism and only skim the surface) who wanted to kick my pup from second grades reading and writing group to do that with elder kids, to a sick kiddo, sick dog, broken laundry machine, food, school runs and so on. I haven't even seen my BMW for so long I think someone has stolen it. Hell yes i want a nap and a glass of wine while he cleans up the house.

If the bloody texts on screen thing works, I'd finally get my shopping lists there. That would help. Other than that, I really don't care as long as I get to be the one leaving the house from Monday night on again.

Haha, I parked my toy on the street. When nap time comes I'll go and try to work with that damn idrive. We do not get along, and of course its his fault!

Before the hockey championships we are an easy going crowd. I doubt later in the spring the spirit is as jovial.

If you have an iPhone, you can use Siri by just pushing and holding the voice command button on the steering wheel for 2-3 seconds, a microphone will appear and you will have all the Siri features working on your sound system, you can dictate text messages, works great believe me

Haha, no Apple products in my house.

I got this working after I had a few well chosen fits over it. Apparently the real issue was English English setting who's I can't understand why made the system stop working. Oh well, windows makes life more fun!
