Angel eye issue...
OK, probably the wrong section but I figured this would get more views before being moved!
I have the EAS LED angel eyes and they have been great! Finally had some LED amber turn signal (also from EAS) installed yesterday and now the angel eyes do not come on as part of the Welcome Light function. They continue to work perfectly as daytime running lights when I start the car. What has happened to my welcome lights? There is no connection between the turn signals and the angel eyes and there was no coding done to the car. Welcome lights are ticked on in iDrive. I have let the car go into sleep mode ticked the welcome lights off and back on then restarted that car but still no welcome lights up front... Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks Tom, I knew this but did not think about it! Perhaps the shop turned the lights off of auto while installing the turn signal bulbs. I'll check when I get back to my car this afternoon...

Of what, my non-functioning welcome lights? Tom solved it, the shop had turned off the auto function. All is well now...
You survive the "great" blizzard, Mel?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when the headlight switch is not in 'Auto' mode, the inner Turn Signal Assist lights and the Active-Cornering function of the headlamps are also disabled. Only the Auto-Leveling feature is retained in manual mode.
I keep mine off and manually select the lights so save wear on the headlight control units/motors. I'm certain all that multitasking the headlights would otherwise be doing in 'Auto' mode can only accelerate headlamp failure over time.
