Little Fedex box in the mail

When I got home today, there was a little white FEDEX box from the BMW ED department with a very nice brochure on the whole ED process, a welcome letter, discount offers for Munich hotels, and luggage tags. Very nice.

None of that stuff in the brochure is worth using.

March 30 here.

I ended up not using the deals in the booklet either. Lufthansa was much more expensive and the 5-10% off didn't matter, and I picked the Four Points within walking distance to Welt for my 1 Munich evening

Do you guys have restaurant must-dos on your lists? I'm trying to figure out the dining situation right now.

Not even a gift like the old alarm clock. They do great gifts after delivery but BMW should send a gift as a thanks for purchasing a car and doing European Delivery.

I've got a nice BMW pen (85 euros at the Welt store) and a beautiful classic stop watch which I had to go get it at jewelry store downtown Munich. Very happy with both of them.

Nope, i am not! my trip not going through ALPS, mainly city so i don't think winter tires are necessary

Gotcha. I think I may head down south (French Riviera) for a couple days and head back. Still debating on things.

I'm picking up on 4/13 and heading through the Alps, still trying to decide as well. I think the weather forecast a week or two beforehand will ultimately determine what I do

Just got my fedex little white BMW ED welcome package.

Sure, i'll use the luggage tags. Why is everything else useless? I get the Lufthansa thing, and we're Usair Gold (possibly plat by travel time) so we were going that route anyway. But why not the hotel deals?

I did like the idea of the Bayerischer Hof......
