First 500 M3 Lithograph

Did anyone else get this Lithograph from Munich on ordering their M3. I fm did place my deposit over 12 months ago so that may have helped.

The text does not appear to mention any specific region or country, and it is signed by the president of M GmbH rather than any head of BMW NA, so I have to guess this covers the first 500 worldwide.

Interesting...I placed a deposit mid year for a first week build (37 week in 2014) on the M3 and was not this lucky. BMW most likely reserved these lithographs for the first 500 orders, globally. Very nice indeed.

As an M3 owner, ordered the last week of May, I'm hoping because M4s were more popular than M3, I have a shot at getting the print. Well I realize I seriousy don't have shot in hell but I can hope!

I checked and put down some cash last November (2013). I received the paper in March I think of 2014 (it said to help tide the wait over before the car's release). I noticed no one had mentioned them in posts so thought I'd check. My car is mineral grey so I'm assuming they produced the Austin Yellow and YMB variants for the M4 and M3. That said, I'm not sure if they made a M4 version.

The letter says it is signed by the designer - but doesn't say which one. I have it framed now and next to my Advanced Driving Cert from the BMW Driver Experience.

I'm loving my car and can see myself putting my money down early again for the next one in 7 years

I'm in Sydney Australia so it was definitely globally. My dealer is the manufacturer owned dealer in Sydney central.
