Rear daylight driving lights

Hi guys,
I noticed that when I have the lights switch in auto (left-most position) during the day I have the led rings in the front on, but nothing at the back. Is this normal?

I would like to have some light in the back as well.

Yes, completely normal. Those of us that have it on have it coded. It's referred to as DRL Tail Lights in the coding cheat sheet.
