All Weather Rubber Floor Mats or Floor Liners

Which one to get? what's the difference. I assume each one will do the job. which one looks good and fit better?

There are two parts on the website.

This debate has been settled before. I just ordered the BMW version of the weather techs. They are more money but offer better protection. I say this yet they are not based on my own opinion.

Floor liners are best for protection. They are precision molded to fit around the contours of the vehicle and trap liquids with higher lips. Liners for the rear generally come with one big liner that covers all areas in the rear to include the driveshaft hump vs the all weather mats are 2 separate and only cover the area in front of the left and right rear seat. I chose to go with the BMW floor liners. They are produced by weathertech (makes the best liners) for BMW. The only differences between BMWs version is they have the Velcro fasteners rather than the "hook" style and they have a bmw emblem rather than weathertech. However, you can't go wrong with either of the liners. My final decision ended up being the one that shipped cheapest to an APO.

@nyquistcondition Agreed, looked at both and bought the BMW version. Durable and absolutely fit for purpose.

The high end carpeted floor mats look amazing and are extremely durable. They are hard to describe but they will not hold dirt like normal carpet and have steel and rubber for the driver side in the accelerator area. They also fit perfectly.

I found the oem weather rubber mats are slippery when wet. I noticed this when getting in and out of the truck. Maybe weather tech is a better choice. They both protects well during the dirty winter months.

Yes, that is correct. They look almost 100% identical to my weathertech liners:http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=793939. This thread has most of the pictures. The weathertech liners are post 18 on page 1 (mine) and post 50 on page 2. Then, post 22 on page 1 and post 36 on page 2 show the BMW version of weathertech liners.

It includes both. They are sold as FRONT (driver and passenger) and 2ND ROW (one long piece), and 3RD ROW (one long piece).

GetBMWparts.com has a special for part number 82112285514 for $76 for front and rear. Is this for a complete set or do one need to order two of each? I am assuming two since it is very reasonably priced.

The one on the left is 100% like the weathertech and to be completely honest is better. It is light and very durable; it has protected my BMW very well for the past few months of rain, mud, etc. Just make sure you get some of those floor hooks or that they get included (weathertech sent me them for free) and it keeps the liners perfectly still. The fact that it rides up high into foot well like that is better in my opinion. The weathertech also come over the door sill ever so slightly so that nothing can seep into the carpet, which is great.

Yeah, that's for rear only.
