Climate control stopped working

Had my car on the battery tender the past few days and when I went to drive her today, the climate control would not work. The button lights are on and you can set it to low to high, etc and you can hear the vents opening when you change it from front to defrost for example but there's no air being pushed through it. After the car is warm you can kind of feel the warmth through the defrost area but there's no air blowing.

I've searched the site and all of google with no luck. I checked all the fuses associated with the climate control system and they're fine.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Nevermind, I fixed it. I took off the passenger side cabin air filter to get access to the blower motor and noticed it was a bit rusted and wasn't rotating freely with my hand. I sprayed some WD-40 on it and spun it by hand a bit and got it broken loose as it seems to have siezed a bit from the rust and the non-use over the past week or so.

Turned the climate control back on and boom, it works.

I was gonna say time to strip it and make a race car but fixing it works also.

I'd be lying if I said the thought didn't cross my mind.

I had an issue last week I had to troubleshoot..

After a lot of searching, it seems like the most common issue is corrosion on the motor shaft caused by leaking from the windshield. A little wd-40 and some love makes it work. This wasn't the case for me.

I removed the glove box and the panel to inspect the motor and found a wire entering the speed controller was chard and the connector was burnt.

I was able to clean up the contacts with fine sandpaper and fixed the connector to have a tighter fit. It's working great now!
If I had to guess, I would say it was a loose connection and was arcing creating enough heat to burn it.

The controller looks fine

Thought I'd share!
