Caliper Painting Question

A shop here charges around $180 to paint my calipers. Is this a good deal? I haven't seen many forum members doing this so just curious.

Thanks.

As long as it's a good high heat resistance powder coat, then yes that's an excellent deal. My brakes being powdercoated with two paints (superchrome and lollipop blue) from prismaticpowders cost me $300.

BTW neither of your links from this cafe site show the things you were trying to post it seems. Can you just right click the image and select copy image location or view the image and copy its URL and post that in the yellow mountain picture button of this forum reply section?

Wow, very nice. Jae, can you do me a favor and buy these heat-resistant M decals for me when you get time. Do they come in a silver reflective color for the M symbol instead of this white color? I'm having trouble finding good quality ones for my front calipers - Ebay and Amazon have garbage ones that aren't durable in heat. If this company is good, then they're definitely using decals that can endure the heat of the brakes. Let me know, brother! Thanks again .

Also, if I may throw in my opinion, try to see if they can do a metallic blue of this color instead of the matte/flat blue that is pictured. It will look MUCH better.

Go here and use some of their color ideas to help you with your choices: http://www.prismaticpowders.com/gallery/

This is the color of my brakes: Super Chrome with Lollipop Blue top coat

Thanks for the help, Jae . The silver one isn't too bad. If you can't find anything better, that'll do just fine . I only need two, but if they're cheap, I don't mind paying for a few more.

I have to ask if they are high-temp cast stickers. The shop has a one year warranty on the product but does not mention anything about temperature. I looked on Ebay for caliper sticker with high-temp etc. and they are all from Hong Kong.
