Plasti-Dip Kidney Grills Titanium
Hi All
I was wondering if anyone had color-matched a plasti-dip to the Titanium Kidney grills? I have a 35d with M Sport and before I purchase the blacked out grills, I want to try with plasti-dip first to match the 50i with M Sport. Just not sure if I should get matte silver, gray etc. |

@AHCPAX5, plasti-dip is great if you are going for a matte color.
I tried it, and it looks great as matte. But, their gloss coating is not up to par. You can, if you wanted, use a different clear gloss on top of the matte plasti-dip. I never tried it, but it should work to finalize the looks. The other concern though, will it come off as easy as if it is only on a plasti-dip coating.

Yeah, you will have to use a very very exact Aluminum/Titanium color to match to the matte center kidneys then about 5-6 coats of glossifier spray over that.
