The front end shape reminds me of the F10 in that pic. Even thought the features are actually nothing like it.

While I do think this is cool, I think it's also too much. The retrofit 1M bumper is the perfect look (for a retrofit), but I think this looks better on the F8X cars. It gets to boxy and sharp on the front end, whereas our OEM bumpers har more curved and rake-ish

Too much. I'm not a fan, really I don't even like the 1M retrofit either.

The M4 bumper looks good on the M4 because the profile of the car is more square.
Putting the same bumper on the M3, which is more rounded, doesn't match at all.

Photogenic but that's about it.
Too much going on, even with the 1M bumper.

Lines are off with the rest of the car. Best keep that bumper on the F8X where it was meant to be. On the F8X the lines are repeated in the side vents and rear bumper, it just flows. Our e9x's are a rounder

eehhh.... the design/sight lines wouldn't look right from a 1/4 view and side view. If done properly, you need redesigned fenders, side skirts.
Then the car designer draw up the car, their pencil doesn't stop at the fender, there's a flow to the design from front to the back. reminds me of civics with some aftermarket bumper and they don't change the side skirts or fenders to match the styling. |

Reminds me of when people used to put e46 m3 front bumpers on the e36 cars. It just didn't look right. I don't really like the 1M bumper on our car either...
