Blackout Tape

Was thinking about trying this to blackout the chrome trim around the windows. Has anyone tried it and do you see any downside to it. It does not appear that it will damage the existing trim.

I used Trimbrite on my DD years ago and it works very well and has zero wear/flaking issues. PM me for links/pics of my install. I did all window frames as well as a chrome strip on the trunk.

Was thinking of using this. Can anyone confirm whether the shadowline on the F15 M Line is Matte or Gloss? I assume gloss. Please let me know.

Would also appreciate any feedback from anyone that has used this tape.

Not sure about the $1000 for set of vinyls, but I like these, especially considering they got Jet Black variant.

The vinyl is $20. They are showing how much the OEM pieces are as the alternative.

LOL I was like, how the heck they sell the roundel overlays for $10 but want $1000 for shadowline.

My M-Sport has gloss black. I'm sure this specific vinyl will be fine for you, especially as they are marketing it towards BMW owners specifically. Price is right so your risk is low. Go for it and keep us posted with pics.

Going with 3m gloss black after reading reviews. Having done on Tuesday and will post pics.
