Is this legal in CA?
Got a mirror mount for my V1, but it sits pretty low. I know in CA we are not allowed to have anything on the Windshield, "Technically" nothing is on the windshield but it is obstructing some view. Would I get a ticket for this if a cop were to see it?

I used this:

Not sure if legal in CA or not but I had the same mount and had the same problem with the detector dropping down to low. I was able to reconfigure the pieces a bit to move it an inch or so higher and that helped but moved it forward a bit. I eventually took it off the mirror and mounted it on the windshield down low in my field of vision. Windshield mounting is legal where I live.

I was actually looking at the blendmount adapters but since I don't have my car yet (week 42>50>4...) I can't measure yet. Ever try these?

Just buy the concealed display and mount it in your instrument cluster. That's what I did. My V1 is hardwired and is clipped to my passenger rear view visor. Got pulled over once and from his angle he couldn't see any of it.
