Traction problem

Any of you fellow new M drivers getting frustrated by the inability to put your foot down without the wheels spinning like crazy , it's as if the rear of the car is so light it refuses to grip the road(I have a manual)

With great power comes great responsibility. Modulate your throttle, my friend.

I think that just comes from cars that can do a qtr mile in less than 12 seconds. If your not use to it you will become use to it over time. I had close to 5000 lb m5, it took about 5g miles of driving before I started feeling comfortable enough to want to get on it under any circumstance. Raced a couple guys in the beginning, they'd be gone and I'd still be at the line spinning tires.

Mickey Thompson ET Streets, which will probably require wheels unless something has changed since last I checked. Used to be available for 15-17" wheel size only.

This is the right answer. Just work on the release of the clutch and how quickly you're into the gas and you'll get used to it.
