Best x pipe

In the service of being able to return the exhaust to fully stock in the future, but being able to eliminate the front cats while having useful secondary high flow cats (200, I think, do they actually remove the smell effectively?) and better performance, what might be the best front X pipe system?

I think the OP is asking who makes the easiest to install and remove test pipes. There are several test pipes available. They all look the same to me. Maybe one has better clamps than another. Probably having V Bands welded on would be ideal for swapping and leak free sealing, but V Bands reduce clearance by about 1/2 inch so if you are scraping your cats now they may not be a good choice.

Used OEM x pipe and TPs. Then when it's time for emissions swap em out. Keep your X pipe stock. Save lots of $$$

Swapping the entire X pipe is more work than swapping test pipes on your existing x-pipe, if swapping test pipes is a viable option. I have removed and installed the stock x-pipe and an aftermarket x-pipe several times. Certainly doable if you prefer to go that way.

We have had great results with the Macht Schnell track pipes.

Normally about a 20 whp gain. You will also need a tune to turn off the CEL if you dont have one already.

You may want a tune but it's certainly not needed per se

If you have friendly neighbors and want to *keep* them that way, you'd be saving yourself a lot of grief by having the cold start tuned out.
