e90 M3 rear door shadowline trim question

Does anyone know how to properly remove/replace the plastic shadowline trim piece on the rear door that divides the large window (the one that rolls up and down) from the smaller window. It is a small, gloss black vertical trim piece about 1" in width.

Use sewing string or dental floss to saw through the glue?!
Its the same way you would take off the spoiler with out harming the paint.

That piece is not taped or glued. It's screwed. Need to roll window down fully and remove the plastic trim that goes around the inside window frame. It's just kind of pressed in friction fit. Then Need to pull rubber seal out from window track next to the trim you want to replace. Start at top corner and yank seal at 45 degree angle. Once seal is pulled out there is a couple screws in the metal window track that hold the shadow line trim in place. Once screws removed wiggle the trim piece and it will slide right out
