Where do you guys get your part?
As the title says, I'm wondering where most of you experienced M3 owners get aftermarket parts. My last car was a 530i so I didn't bother with modifications.
On this car I want to get black kidney grills, black side turn signal, and carbon fiber front splitter, mirror caps, and maybe trunk lid spoiler. Another question, I have the competition wheels, and the car is Jerez Black, do you think it would look good if I get the wheels painted satin black? Thanks! |

do you preferred new or used?
Or used, the forum's private seller section is preferred as it is sold by forum members. for new parts, most forum approved vendors here sell a combo of aftermarket and OEM parts http://www.m3post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=181 |

I also have a jerez black car. I did the satin black GTS wheels and I didnt really like it 100%. I liked more contrasting colors with jerez. But it didnt look bad...
All of the items you are considering purchasing get lost on a dark car like jerez... but there isnt much you can do different. So its sounds like you are on the right track. All of the parts you are looking for should be pretty easy to pick up cheaply in the private sellers section. I bought most of those parts from bmwpartspros.com... they seem to have really competitive priced OEM BMW Performance parts (which is essentially what you are going for). Also, quick question. For the kidney grill and side gills do you recommend gloss black or matte black?
The forum discussions I looked at all talk about white and silver cars, never Jerez Black. iND on EAS has a pack for gloss black grills, gills, and paint matched side reflectors for $390. |

$390 is a pretty good deal for all of that. I'm sure there are better prices elsewhere as EAS is always the top end of retail but thats also because they are one of the biggest sponsors on the forum. I will try to see if I have some different pics of the car... I have changed the look of my car about 10 times since I bought it. I get bored quickly. |
