Has anyone else burned their ass with the heated seats?
As most in the U.S. know, it's been a little chilly lately. This morning I turned on the heated seats and HOLY HELL! I like my butt warm, not burnt. It felt like I shoved a lit candle in my ass.
I guess it would be fine if I had 4 layers on or something. I will be setting it at 2 bars from now on.

Have not used them yet, kinda scared to use because of another members seat burn hole. Since we are on the subject how do you turn on the heat for steering wheel? Do you have to go into idrive? Thanks

I admit my cooking hobby has made it possible to endure high temperatures so maybe an extra lunch could be a nice solution to your heating problem? It also makes it a nicer ride by absorbing bumps on the road.

I don't know, if it's just my car, but I don't find the heater anywhere close to too hot. If the spring comes and my sitting comfort has disappeared we will know it at least burns blubber off. No way will any form of exercise be blamed in my case!

No it isn't. I've been losing weight, so I don't stretch out the leather in my seat bolsters.

I know how we rate the heat is mainly in our heads, but can it be that there is also issues with well some of our warmers work? I would love to get a melter seat rather than the lukewarm thing I have now!

I agree. The damn seat heater is too hot. Even in setting 1... after about 10min or so, it gets too hot. Definitely wasn't like this with the old M

I'm on the thinner side but I had on jeans AND underwear. I might need ass implants for three bars, lol. I checked the seats after work. No burns marks. I use three bars all the time in the F30 no problem.
